I found this one on ebay. (Auction number 4531700430) I'm thinking about taking a drive down to look at it. I'm not to familiar with Midgets. Anything special to look for?

From looking at your sig images, I guess you know about rust. The 1970 would have a 1275 A series engine and a 4 speed tranny. The tranny has a non-syncro first gear that is straight cut and loud. Frequently the suspension is neglected and will need a rebuild. Are you more concerned about body,or mechanical?
 
I'd be a little more concerned about mechanical. I'm getting alot of experience with body. The owner mentions rust on the fender by the word midget. That has me concerned about rusted out rockers. (I really don't need 2 basket cases at once) Any ideas what this might be worth?

The '70 model is a chrome bumper model that generally brings a little more than the post 75 rubber bumper model. However, some people prefer the 72-74 that have the round rear wheel arch. The '70 model is the first to have thin bumpers, with the rear split bumper. The bottom of the A-post/bottom door hinge are some of the first areas to show excessive rust. The MIDGET lettering is on the rockers, so it could indicat a hidden problem. The A series engine can easily go over 100,000 without a rebuild, and they are cheap to rebuild. The lever shocks are also likely to have been neglected. Check for leaks and excessive play. You might also check to see if the rear springs have excessive sag. A driver that needs no immediate body work could range from 1800-3200 IMO. This all depends on the condition of the interior and engine.
