Are these English made?

Bruce

No, they are made in India which was colonized by the British in 1886. There is a heavy British influence in engineering in India to this day, where whitworth machinery, tools and equipment is still readily used and available.

These sockets are made of high quality steel and chrome plated. They are not made in China or Taiwan or other places where tools are known for lesser quality.

Simply put, we sell these tools because they are strong, well plated and they FIT! If anyone is looking for British made Whitworth tools or sockets, I suggest they click on our link above and visit our site!

There, you will find King Dick and Britool products. However, be prepared to pay twice the cost for them!
