TR6 69 TR6 Rostyle wheel cover questions

From what I read, the earlier 69 TR6's came with the Rostyle covers, but the later 69's did not. For the later 69's that did not come with these covers, did these also have the three studs in each wheel? If they did not have the studs, was this something that could be added later?
