Here is a nice opportunity for someone. This car is for the person that hates rust. It has a little around the right rear wheel, but that is all. It is nearly complete, with over $1000 worth of new parts to go with it. Parts are from spitbits, so it is not the cheap stuff. If interested, I can send a list of what it has and what it needs, as well as a bunch of pictures. I could deliver locally (75 miles or so).I'm asking $1500, a little negotiable.I bought this car to fix up for my wife. Her first car was a Spitfire. She has decided she would like something else. I would keep this car but I have a herald to fix up, and a MM Traveller to keep running. The Spit needs a new home soon, Don't miss it! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/driving.gif

Re: 69 Spitfire for sale, Price up-date

OK, A lot of lookers on the Spitfire, but no ??? This car needs a new home, and quickly. Anybody make me a reasonable cash offer, and you can have it. I added up my parts purchases, and that is actually over $1200. Something very close to this number and I'll be happy. Unfortunately trading for parts is not in my best interest. Anybody?? I have attached a picture of the floor from underneath. It is solid.

gawd.........if you weren't 3000 miles away, I'd jump on this as I am now looking for a Triumph fixer-upper in good shape. Cheers !
