Jim,

I think that is a very good value for your asking price. You seem to have collected all the litle bits and correct pieces. Correct oil cap, Wood (Les Leston?) steering wheel, trunk board, no hole luggage rack, all desireable items.

The front anti-rollbar is uniquely mounted. Normally I would expect it to be mounted to the front bumper supports, not through the tow loops.

But all in all, a very nice and clean car.

Jim, don't do it!
You will be kickin' yourself in the coming years!
I have your car's slightly older, identical brother (minus the OD) which sat in a garage from 72 until 2 years ago, when I finally had the money to update it and enjoy it. Yours is ready to go with the equity you've put into it.
I love my car and wouldn't separate myself from it, ever.

Hi Jim;

I agree with Tomster; "Don`t do It"; You`ll regret it later!

Question; If you must, or want to Sell one of the Triumphs, Why not Sell the GT6?? I can only guess that the TR4A-IRS will continue gaining a Heck of Lot more Value than the GT6; Don`t You Think??

Good Luck with whatever your choice may be;

Regards, Russ

Actually, I think the GT6 has gained more in value over the last 5 years. I know when I take both cars to a show, the GT6 gets all the attention. And, I like the power of the GT6.

Jim,

Keep it in the Family!

Ship to me here in PR and I'll ship you Crypty to play
with in your spare time. A good swap and neither of us
loses our cars. You are probably real bored having a functional car. No fun for you. You'll have a blast
with the Crypt car.

I'll pay the USPS Priorty Mail delivery for both cars!

A very tempting offer, Dale! You right about being a little bored. I've had two projects in the last 3 years just to keep me busy. A GT6 MKIII and a Spit6, both now sold. I would really hate to deprive you of all the fun you are having... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

A stock TR4a should not be slower then a stock gt6. The racing potential is greater with the 2.2 TR, as proven. Sorry to hear you've soured a bit on the TR...

I haven't soured on the TR-4a. I love both cars. It was not an easy decision which one to sell. I just enjoy driving the GT6 more. They are so different in driving characteristics, it's maybe not fair to compare them.

Jim this will be my final comment on your decision:
How the heck do you plan to go cruisin' in the GT6 WITH THE ROOF DOWN?
Think long an hard about that one....
