I have a 67 sprite that has a misfire around 50mph or around 35-40 rpm in 3rd and 4th gear. I just tried putting in a new Lucas ingnition condenser but it still happens. Any tips would be great

You may want to take look at the carbs as well, sometime a lean or rich condition can cause this sort of thing. You should have the solid needle (AN nnedles) SU HS2 carbs on your 67 (great year to own by the way) the jet should be about .070" down form the bridge when measured with a dail caliper. Also look at the oil in the dampner, run the same oil in the carbs as you do in your engine. Hope this helps.

I will give that a look. I wasnt thinking carbs since it dosn't happen all the time. I also heard it might be a sticky valve. I know I need new valve seals so I thought that might also be it. Any recmondations on valve seals?

Thank you again
