Check out item 180324810456. In the vehicle description he states that he purcased the car from a high school buddy and then goes into what appears to be a very detailed description of the car stating facts that only people with knowledge about Austin Healeys would know and then later in the next section he states that he doesn't know much about the car and inherited it when his father passed away. Am I reading this correctly? Also the 13 K buy it now seems way to cheap for that car.

I agree. Seems like one of those 'too good to be true' sort of things. The only way I would consider bidding is if I lived close oneough to go look at it & check it out carefully, including paperwork like the title. The other thing I noticed is he said he bought it in 1980 and drove it for 2 years and parked it. Then he says it has been his summer driver the last four years. Then he refers to "after the restoration" but doesn't say just when that happened. At the least it is a very confusing write-up.

And, come on, a 13K buy it now??? If it is even close to the condition reported it would be worth twice that or more.

Remember NYPD Blue? They used the term "hinkey".

Now the blue 65 from Pennsylvania is off e-bay and a red 67 is listed using the exact pitch about inheriting it from his father and this car is suposed to be in Hawaii wth a buy it now 14 k.
