'65 B radiator

Rad is from a later car, one fitted with an air pump. T-stat housing is original to early B-Series. The t-stat cover could be rotated to make it a ~bit~ more palatable.

The top port on early cars was on the other side and the cap was on an extension behind the shroud, to the driver's left of centre.

I mean the radiator is`wrong & the t-stat housing can't be rotated to make it right...didn't look closely enough to see if its worth bidding on - but I can.
 
Not necessary to look closer. Thanks for your input though. I am looking for a 65 and that is the same color as the new one I had in 1965. First I havee seen in a long time.

But with wrong radiator I wonder what else is wrong. Also engine bays were same color as car as I remember. This one is black.

Looked & I wouldn't bid on that little blue - er, red - er, blue car! Its blue now & will need lots of body work so it might as well go back red...interior sucks, engine is way wrong & devalues the pull handle body...which needs rockers (at least 1) & fender repair....his startin bid is max for the car like it is - no wonder he's had to lower his reserve...if you're close, take him $2500 in cash!

how seriously are you looking for a '65 B? I have a nieghbor who is thinking about selling his BRG '65...I don't know much about it, other than it is a driver and has been garage kept for the past 20 or so years, driven occasionally just to keep it running, and seems to be in pretty decent shape.

He may have illusions of grandure as to the value though...
