Spitfire 64 Spit Window Regulators

How different are the window regulator from the 62-70 and the 71-80. the gears in my regulators will not mesh and I cannot roll up or down the widows with out assiting them. I'm heading back to get the door hinges so I figure while I'm there I would grab them.

I'm seeing different part numbers, but I wonder if they might be similar enough to interchange, seeing as the doors didn't really change that much?

That's what I'm hoping. The pics in all the books look the same. Even if I have to do some switching, all I really need are the gears. Mine are stripped.
