2k seems a bit spendy for that body, on the other hand it is worth 40k restored - look it up. :whistle:
 
It's rough. But you don't see too many 948 MkI Midgets if that is the correct engine.

What is "rock bottom" for Spridgets? There was a gentleman selling this non-running '69 Sprite for $3500.

I'm not sure what he ended up getting, but I believe he sold the car. $3500 seemed to be an awful lot for a car that has those kind of body issues and isn't running. A friend of mine sent me this pic from a Cruise-In that he does every Sunday morning. I didn't actually see the car in person.
