I've been emailing this guy about his Bugeye.
He just sent pics today.

He is open to trades but so far I haven't made an offer as I was waiting to see pictures.

Tell me what you guys think.
I copied the picture with the hood open & brightened it enough to see the engine is there and has SU's and a fan on front and the radiator is sitting out on a bench.

Here they are:

Here is what he has said about it:

<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:]<span style="font-weight: bold">1961 Austin Healey Sprite - $3800</span>
1961 Austin Healey Sprite restoration project. Body in excellent condition, good glass, sanded down to paint. Car is complete and I have had it running, but it has sat for many years waiting for restoration. I have many new parts and a parts manual. This is one of the original "Bugeye" Sprites designed as a working mans race car.
and when asked if he would be interested in trades:

<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:]I could possibly be interested trade or part trade if you have something I am looking for. I am getting ready to move, so trying to reduce the amount of mass I must take. Any trades would have to be either something of equal value, but much smaller, like gold or silver, certain kinds of good tools, or possibly a van or 4x4 of equal value. I am also looking for a small or remote piece of land or a 38-45' cruising sailboat, so would trade for down payment or interest in those. What do you have in mind?
Price seems a little rich for a non running bugeye. It's also hard to tell how solid the body is. Good news is that it looks fairly complete.

I wandered around in his site for a bit....found this entry:

He's an artist who definitely marches to his own drum!

I don't know what Bugeye's are worth but I'd think $3,800 for a non-running one in Idaho of all places would be on the high side!
