TR2/3/3A 6 volt Oogah horn

I want to install an antique oohgah horn in my TR3. The horn is 6 volt and when I attach it to my 12 volt system, it works but does not make the right sound. I think I need to slow it down so it will make the famous OOGAHH sound. How do you bring the voltage down to 6 volt just for the horn?

I had a pretty puny beep too, until I got the second horn working. My wife dashed to the garage to find me grinning like an idiot.
