WOW!
I just realised, when doing some logging for the TR7 today, that I have driven over 6,500 km in it this summer. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
This is by far the most since I got it four years ago. My longest trip ever in it was this weekend as well, with a trip to the British Car Day in Oakville Ontario on Sunday. That added up about 240km to the total, with the car running fantasticaly.
Hopefully, the weather and the money for insurance will hold on and I can try to hit 7 or 8 thousand.
What about the rest of you guys and gals?
Anyone keeping tabs on milage this year?

I've done about 1,000 miles so far this year. We are really just getting into prime driving weather here. Hopefully I'll be able to make up for lost time.

Paul, I hope your collector car insurance company doesn't read this forum!

Collector car insurance is of no use to me. As you read, I would have used up my allottment in a few weeks. Mine is for GO not for SHOW.
Unfortunatly, with three cars and three drivers in the family during the summer (Daughter goes to University), she has to be classed as principal driver on the TR7.
Fortunatly, my dad is our insurance broker.

Dang, I should be so lucky! I am my family's dentist, but they hardly get regular checkups.....

Close to 24,000 miles since I bought my '62 Herald 1200 in late June 2002. Lost a couple weeks' driving last month while the car was apart for a new clutch, so this year's total has only been around 6,000-7,000 miles. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

You guys are making me jealous.

Of course my spedo cable has been broken since the Reagan administration but I've only managed about 50 miles since January. Still sorting out everything whenever I can grab a couple of hours for myself (I'd been towing my non-running car around since 1991). Plus I haven't worked up the energy to spend a couple of hours dealing with mouth-breathing gub'ment employees at the DMV. So test driving has been limited to 35mph in my rather large gated community... at least I've been able to outrun all the golf carts.

But soon... very soon... The goal is to get it to the point where I feel comfortable enough driving it to work once a week.

Yikes ... most of you outdid me, I just ticked over 700 miles.

This is actually a good year for me, as there have been some years since I've owned the TR6 that I haven't put any miles on it.

I tell myself that as long as I put more miles on it this year than I did last year, I'm doing good.

Just over 800 this year, which is 650 more than the last 21 years combined. We're finally starting to enjoy the car again and looking forward to more trips next year. We've still got the British Invasion in Cape Cod to go, so we're not quite done yet.
