TR2/3/3A 59 TR3A Latest Video #2

Re: 59 TR3A up-date Video #2

Nice. Keep up the good work. Think best to adjust gaps after body on frame with appropriate spacer in place. Cheers, Mike

I think you're right about the body gaps, at least for the door/B-pillar. I'll prime the body and set it aside until I get the chassis back together

Re: 59 TR3A up-date Video #2

Is the drivers side door skin a new part, I didn't notice any drill holes for the tonneau cover snap pegs. And does it measure the same lengths from front to back as the passenger door. I know 25 or 30 yrs. there were a number of sheet metal parts being sold stamped off old original (really worn out) dies and they always came up short dimensionally, (personal experience). If the doors are different I would think time could be saved finding a good used one. They are certainly available. The lead repair at the rear is strictly very old, pre bondo days. I never knew my 3A had been hit until the first time I had to take off my front apron. It must have had ten pounds of lead around the passengers side.
