Bought my first TR3A in college in 1965: used 1960 model. Ran great; never a mechanical problem. Sold in 1972 when I went overseas for my job. Bought a replacement ‘59 TR3A in 1986: not operational. Got it running by 1989, and was my commute car in Los Angeles until I moved to Virginia in 1991. Rusty gas tank and leaking brake fluid put it in my garage in 1991, where it sat untouched until 2017. Started work in May, 2017, and started the engine for the first time April 10, 2021. Still needs a replacement fuel pump and cosmetic care, but almost road worthy again now.
