Post-War Other 53 Triumph Mayflower

Met a guy at the paint store today with a 53 Mayflower he brought over from the UK. He was wondering how many are over here. Anyone know of any?

I have a couple dozen listed on my Database web site, and they seem to continue to turn up every so often. I personally have one, not currently running, and I know of someone on the West Coast who has seven (including one converted to an electric car)!

If I had to guess, I'd say there might be somewhere around 25-50 RUNNING Mayflowers in the US, and likely a lot more waiting to be discovered.

There was a man here in Montreal with one he had restored very nicely about 15 - 20 years ago. He was thinking of selling it. I don't know if he did. I haven't seen him of the Mayflower since.

I know of a guy here on Long Island that's had one for as long as I've known him, which is about forty years. He' calls it his mini Rolls-Royce.

Some of the Triumph racing guys are trying to get in touch with a Mayflower owner in the Albany NY area who is reportedly preparing it for racing.
