I was at work yesterday, getting ready to go out for parts in my newest B when my daughter called and said there was a funny roundish type car along the main drag (kinda like a VW she said) Said it was for sale??Cruised by and its a 52 Morris Minor...sign said "taking bids" Looks like it wil be mine this week. Other than the paint job, its pretty nice. Has ugly green interior but great shape, dash is perfect and uncut. Glass is also fine, no rust that I can see. I guess I'll end up with it....have no use whatsoever for the car so the plan is to strip and paint it a correct Minor color for the year and hope I can find someone to adopt it. I'm buying the car to save it as there were two brainless kids looking at it and saying that it lokked like they could cram a huge engine in it....I'll keep everyone posted....and if anyone might be interested in adopting it...please feel free to drop a note.

They're neat cars - I had a convertible & a sedan.....you can switch to front disc brakes, MGB rostyle wheels, 1275 Midget engine & ribcage trans & have a sweet road car!

Once saw one with a merc six in it, real sleeper!, had a morris 8 for a while, now keepin an eye on a woody !
