Ok, I have a T9 gearbox in the mail. Should be here next week. I managed to source a clutch from a plymouth cricket. The only problem is the chap at the "the-wizardsden.com" doesn't answer email anymore. I was planning to buy the drawings for his adapter from him. So now I must develop my own adapter. I was hoping to have most every thing complete so I wouldn't be off the road too long when I made the conversion. Guess I was wondering if anyone had a 1500 bellhousing they wanted to sell or loan for 6 months if they couldn't bare to part with it for ever. That would let me fab up an adapter plate for the new gearbox. I promise to provide lots of documentation along the way. I'm nervous about cutting the cross member but guess at this point it has to be done.

That is wonderful. I felt like I was by myself on an island here in the states. Did you fab your own adapter plate and transmission mount?

Thanks Morris, I emailed quantummechanics right after Bud told me about them. I asked for an adapter and transmission mount. We'll see what they come back with. I know I can get the whole frontline kit for around 600 pounds. I'm willing to try my hand at it before I part with that kind of money.
I'll keep your offer in mind bud. If I get an adapter drawn up, I will certainly share it with you.
