Post-War Other '49 Triumph TRX

Interesting project for someone. I've never seen one in person. Prototypes tend to be very difficult restorations. Tom

Onboard hydraulic radio antenna, that does it for me. Is there any value in the car once restored, where would you find comparables.

Very cool piece of Triumph history, I am guessing the guy that bought it 16 years ago or whatever is looking to make a nice return on his investment (not that there is anything wrong with that). Pretty rough, but probably worth fixing up, I remember seeing pictures in books, didn't know there were any still around.

Thanks for sharing the link.

Very interesting car, but I suspect it would be a very difficult and expensive restoration. Cheers, Mike

There are a few interesting tidbits about this listing on another forum (TR Register, if I can say that here), including sales prices from 1999.
