Latest addition but no photos yet as its crammed in with lots of other cars and can't get a clear shot of it Parked in 71 and not missing a single part and just a couple of bubbly rust spots...minor all glass is intact but will need replacing. Took the wife down to see it and she said great...I think I,ll keep her a while longer. As we were walking back to see it I stopped and showed her another Stude, a 50 four door Land Cruiser. 57k original miles stashed in a building there till we dismantled the structure to get the car out about 18 months ago. No rust and complete. She was not impressed, maybe because its pea green. I guess we have about 125 Studes and Ramblers...and alot are facing a date with the baler, so if you feel the urge...contact me.

Jack - how did you find this treasure house?

Pictures ... we need pictures!

Any late 50s or 60s Ramblers?

And if you find a Golden Hawk you don't need ...

Tom

I'd love to see pictures of that collection. I learned to drive on a 1952 Stud Starliner coupe which I still think was one of the classiest cars ever made.

Photos are needed...I have always wanted a Studebaker, but do not have the space to keep one presently. But I have a good friend who sometimes portrays a Studebaker for their club meetings, and who owns several already. Any good leads would be forwarded to him if you wish...

We have loads of both Studes and Ramblers. alot of them are complete, unmolested and mostly complete. Getting individual pics poses a problem as hey are door handle to door handle and some(sorry to say) were double decked by previous owner. There are six cyls and v-8 cars, standards and autos. Most are in the north end of yard and can be removed fairly easy. There are also wagons and a vert or two. One model has the roof that slides from rear to front...pretty rare..there are also tons of new parts stacked in vans...everyone that visits this yard normally can't grasp the enormity of the place and what we have. Just south of them ate dozens of GMs...Desotos, Dodges, Fords...lots of Dusters...too many to mention also old Caddys.

Any 49 Caddy Sedanettes?

My dad had two hawks - not sure which exact model. Had to look up the Studebaker model (don't know Studebakers too well) but it got me thinking about Desotos and how much (one day) I would love to see the country in a 1951 DeSoto Suburban.

Jack, I do. My Dad had one in 49, I have pictures of it. I won't be able to post for a day or two. Here's a picture from the web:

We may...my pal Bill has one her in town..restoration almost completed. He has a BGT..71..got wrecked twice in two days so he has given up. brought it to my shop for an appraisal and then will most likely be sold or parted out. I'm going to Roswell tonite and will check our Caddy herd and see what we have.
