Can you find my car?

Yeah, The winter of '78 is why I live in Florida now.

I like snow, as long as it's not too much too often. Living in Montana the winters could be brutal, with many days of huge snow dumps! What I like about New Mexico (at least the part where I live) is we do have a few instances during winter where we get the white stuff, but it is usually gone very quickly.

If you're longing to see more white stuff Bas, just tell me where to send it :eagerness:

What snow?WB maifest cresson.jpg

Hey Bas
I'm back in MT now. We have temps in the 30's (above), rivers of melting snow, bare ground showing and sunshine. It was -27 back in MN the other morning. I moved just in time I think.

Hey Darwin! Been ages, almost back in my neighbourhood again, maybe I'll pay a visit sometime... :congratulatory:

We've actually had a rather mild winter here in western Canada, the coldest we've gotten to so far is -15 Celcius, we'll usually get at least a short stretch of -25 to -30 Celcius at some point, there is still February to go... :uncomfortableness: And we've had fairly average snowfall, our biggest dumps of snow typically come here in the spring...

Darwin!, it's good to hear from you man, how have you been?

Drop down anytime James. Be glad to see ya. That goes for anyone else in the neighborhood. Or just anybody who wants to come by. Fresh ground organic coffee is always on or can be in minutes.

Been doing pretty well Walter. Live has been keeping me busy though. Lost my only nephew last March when he crashed his airplane on takeoff. Hit me kind of hard. Had much going on so kinda dropped out of sight and been doing bits and pieces on the spit. Now that I am back in MT maybe I'll start to hang out more. Let's see if we can get chat going a gain like it used to.

Darwin! Good to see you again! I miss Montana! Yes, they have hard winters, but man what a beautiful state! My wife and I had our honeymoon at Flathead Lake and Glacier Nat Park!

Darwin, I'm sorry to hear about your nephew, that must have been really tough.

Basil, you've lived here before so you know the way. Get yer (deleted by bcf:friendly_wink:smile: up here. Coffee is always on. Best prime rib in the world not very far away.

The idea of taking a road trip has bounced around in my head a few times!

Bring it on. We are getting snow flakes the size of pie plates right now (not quite). 3-6" on its way.

James,
I'm within 30 miles of where I used to be. Hoping to get even closer when my current lease is up. Hope you enjoy all 89 people still in Manyberries. If this is the middle I'm all for it. My DD is a piece of crap and the spit is down right now.
