4 Speed Transmission in a BN-1

I am putting a 4 speed transmission in my BN-1. I know this is a common upgrade. I have three questions:

1. Are the transmission mounts painted "Healey Green" or black?

2. To attach the mounts to the main frame rails of course you have to drill holes in the BN-1 frame. I would think the holes for the BN-2 have captive nuts? What kind of nuts should I use to hold the mounts? I seem to remember someone talked about a fastener that you put in like a "pop rivet" with a special pliers, but were left with a nut in its place. What should I use and where do I get them??

3. Lastly, Do you buy a BN-2 front transmission bulkhead or modify the BN-1 bulkhead? Somebody sold me what was suppost to be a BN-2 one, but it does not fit well. I wonder if its not for a BN4?
