3906 100S Art Film

This is a beautiful video of one of Healey's finest. My only gripe is Petrolicious has published this original video done by Dave Parkinson in honor of his dad, Tony, who owns AHS 3096, without any credit to the creator. It was published on Vimeo 11 months ago (the link has now been taken down) and all Petrolicious did was change the music.

OH! Yeah that is a great video

I agree with you Rick. It is a shame that in todays mad rushing of venders and marketeers that they will do anything to keep their name out in front of the masses. Even something like this which shows a complete lack of concern for any standard of moral responsibility. To put this out without giving credit where credit is due is a shame. It's an example of today's culture. It is a beautiful and heart warming video of a time unfortunately gone by. Hopefully some of our own actions can reserect this kind of legacy.
Paul, thanks for posting.

I may be wrong, but I don’t think we should rush to judgement. Petrolicious typically does a great job (in my opinion). It is hard for me to imagine that they hijacked this video without approval. Admittedly, a lack of credits is very odd.

Lin,

You're correct in we don't know if Petrolicious received approval for its use. I wouldn't be surprised as the original video was taken down from Vimeo soon after I linked to it on the Petrolicious website. Can't imagine that would happen without the creator doing it. I would like to have seen Dave Parkinson get the credit he deserves, though, rather than it appearing that Petrolicious did the video on their own. Tempest in a teapot though and we should be glad we have such a wonderful video of the 100S
