In 1971 my summer project was to do a little body rot repair on my Sprite. It had been my daily driver for ten years and road salt had taken its toll. Today was its first run on the road since then as my project had given way to a growing family. My carbs still need some tweaking but at last I am on the road again.

Very cool! I was born in 1971 and could use some body work myself!

Congrats on finally getting your Sprite back on the road!!

That's great. I thought my longevity of ownership story was good, but I think you've got me beat.

Excellent! Congrats!
