I have Rebuilt the steering box and retorqued the head and adjusted every thing on the TR3. It know runs great and handles like a go kart. ( sway bars front and back)
I installed the origanal 2 point seat belts but I do not feel that secure with them. I have a roll bar and am thinking of the 3 point belts an attaching them to the roll bar (drill and tap) What do you guys think?

Since you already have a roll bar, that should be the perfect place to add a mount, avoids tying in too low which I remember reading could lead to back injuries due to spine compression. Hopefully your roll bar is stout enough and tied in strongly?

We have 3-points in our 3A. Rear attachment point is on the front inside mounting bolt of the rollbar rear mounting flanges. I would not recommend drilling and tapping the rollbar tubing as that would violate the integrity of the tubing and introduce a weak point. If you have a harness bar between the hoops, it would be an ideal place to mount a y-style harness.

See www.seatbeltpro.com for hardware as well as bolts.
