What fun! Speaking of clocks, if you ever get a chance to see the movie Longitude, it is a terrific docu-drama about George Harrison and his life long journey to build a clock accurate enough to provide for longitudinal navigation and win a 10000 (Pound) prize.
 
I would love to see it. The story of "longitude" is a fascinating one.
