Tried to drive the Gt to the show.I left the house at 6AM,& got to
the main road (Electric Ave - about a mile away). When I turned on to
Electric,I noticed that I had no forward gears,so pulled off of the road,
& called the Wife, who brought the F150 down,& towed me back home.
Took the truck,& met up with the XK140 & MGB,& caravanned
to the show in Waynesville,VA.
It was a great show,with nice weather.LOTS of pictures.View attachment 55716View attachment 55717View attachment 55718View attachment 55719View attachment 55720View attachment 55721View attachment 55722View attachment 55723View attachment 55724View attachment 55725View attachment 55726

sorry about your car - but, some very nice cars. thanks for sharing

I hope to be able to bring the sprite to next years show, I wasnt around for the one this year unfortunatley.

Nice pix Doug. Thanks. Also good to see a Ford (Anglia) at a Brit car show and not converted to a street rod. Now if I can ever finish my Prefect.

Thanks for some great pictures, Doug. Hope the car isn't too difficult to fix.

Wasn't able to meet up with the owner of the Ford Prefect,& couldn't
get a clear shot of the Yellow Lotus Elan S4.
Was kind of surprised that there were no Spridgets (just three Bugeyes),
& only one TR3.OTOH,there were ten MGB GT's,& nine MGB's.

Spridgets are pretty rare - especially compared to B's - they were throwaway cars back then and now barely worth restoring (financially) and I feel like given the option of restoring a B or a Spridget for basically the same money the smarter choice is typically the B
