Here is the current interest list. There are a lot of racers who aren't on the FOT list who I'm sure will be there as well.

In addition to Kas, there is going to be a good turnout of former Triumph racers from the 60s and 70s.

He hangs out on a forum I frequent. I'll pm him.

There are a lot of names that I expected to see, but don't: The Derbys in their Spitfires, Pat Ryan's Spitfire, Bill Warner with at least one of the Group 44 cars, Randy Williams' TR3 (In my opinion, he has the fastest vintage TR3 in the country). I also don't see many of the VDCA racers in there, despite most of them being "local". Rumor has it there might be some Brit's coming over. I expect the real entry list to have several additional names as a lot of racers aren't on the FOT list (it seems to be populated by mostly Midwesterners).

Okay, haven't been posting much lately but I think my TR4 is ready for the drive to the Mitty. It better be, we're outta here tomorrow morning! 9 guys, 8 Triumphs, it should be fun!

We're looping through Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, Florida, then back to Texas. Two TR6s, Two 3A's, one 3B, one TR4, one TR4A, and one TR8 will give a pretty good model spread. Tale of the Dragon thrown in as well as quite a few sightseeing stops. Hopefully will bump elbows with other forum people during the weekend, or if I break down near any of y'all keep your eyes peeled for an emergency board posting!

A group of us from PA and OH are doing the Dragon on Thursday the 26 in the morning. Maybe we will see you there?

Jerry - You just might, we are either there Wednesday or Thursday on the way back down to the races. I'm a potential Texas FOG inductee, provided I can remember the 3 rules..

We'll miss you guys at Regionals! Too bad both events are the same weekend.

Randy, when you're wondering around the race paddock, drop by and say hello, 1965 MGB, Black car #40, I'm going to try to be on pro pit side, that's the paddock on the infield side.
I'll be racing in group 2, we have 57 cars in our group, it ought to be interesting. I think Group 1, all Triumph group has nearly 50 cars, looks like a big turn out this year.

Folks headed to the Mitty,

Be sure to check out the MGB Roadmaster project car, which will be on display near the Classic Motorsports tent. Curtis Jacobson, from BritishV8.org and BritishRaceCar.org will be the host of this magnificent machine, built entirely with donations and volunteer labor. It is a wonderful example of what can be done by like-minded individuals interested in promoting the sport.
