2012 Conclave Question

Can someone clarify for me if there is a day that is just a show day where all the cars are parked in one place for judging? If so I personally feel there should be a price offered for these types of show goers. Something in the $20-40 range. I'd like to contribute, put my car in the field with other, but not pay $110 for whatever it includes. I would be driving my BJ8 400 miles each way.

I can't afford to take a week off and would just stay one night and enjoy seeing all the cars in one place.

Thanks!

David,

It looks like Tuesday (June 19) is the "Popular Car Show" which is the one time during Conclave that all the Healeys are parked together on display. There is no "judging" exactly, but rather there is voting for favorites in categories by the participants, and the awards are presented later in the week, usually at a Thursday evening award dinner.

If you're interested in concours judging, that is a whole different animal.

I know of no one-day registration, but talk to the organizers and see what they might be able to offer. Generally speaking, the more the merrier and they want everyone possible to participate as much as possible, even if it's not for the entire multi-day program.

Check the 2012 Conclave Outline Schedule and email the overall chairman, Ben Moore future50@mac.com.

Hope to see you there!
