Neighbor's 2010 Pontiac - never touched by a mechanic's hands!

Brakes on and going slowly down the driveway, which curves slightly to the left - the front end makes a clicking sound. Click seems related to wheel rotation.

What could be causing that?

Thanks.

Thanks gents. FWD.

The sound is a definite "click" - like a steel hammer hitting a car's fender. One click per wheel rotation. Not a scraping or rattling sound. Only happens when brake is being applied.

CV, brake hardware, ball joint, etc. ?
