Hey all. Yesterday, I went to this years Britain on the Green put on by the Capital Triumph Register. The weather was a little dreary and overcast, but there was a good turnout. Below is a link to my photobucket album with the pictures. It was my first British car show and it was real cool. Too bad the weather didn't cooperate for me to bring my TR6.

Take Care,

Looks like a great collection of cars were there. The weather looked rather British too!

I was there with my TR6 and I agree, the weather left a lot to be desired. The field was muddy and ruined my tire prep work!

It was my first showand was a good experience. Met some nice folks and saw some really nice cars. Guy parked next to me had a '75 TR6 that was out of this world. Beautiful restoration that he did primarily by himself.

Looking forward to my next showing, probably in Fauqier county in the fall.

I was there. My father came down from Hagerstown. Only saw 2 TR3s... other than that it was a good time!

Carter, I saw your car and thought it looked great. You are just around the corner from me. We should meet up sometime. I am about 5 minutes from Dulles airport. I just joined CTR in October and look forward to meeting some of the other members.

CinneaghTR thanks for the info on the show in Fredrick.

No problem. To be honest, I joined the CTR a year ago and this was the first event I've been to. I don't think I met anyone directly affiliated with CTR at the show! The guys I was surrounded by were from Fredricksburg and Richmond.

The CTR newsletter is always pretty interesting. They have teach-ins at members houses on topics like rebuilding carbs and so forth. I am a real novice under the hood, but would like to learn and save a few bucks. In addition, they have started to do weekend drives and so forth.

My e-mail address is charless20@aol.com.

Lilypons was SO wet last year. I couldnt believe there were 2 dozen cars there anyway. (I didnt bring my 6!) But I got to get some of that good Scottish ice cream.

CTR appears to have some good tech sessions... they are all just so far away from me, and I am to lazy to get up that early on a weekend to go down to wherever they are having it.
