I've posted on here about the place in New Mexico where I help out at two days a week...just got back from there last nite and it seems that every time we move a few cars we discover more treasures...or as my wife says..nightmares. We get more pulled out, move it to the front of the property, sit it facing the fence..and people start coming thru the gate. They come from Calif, Wyoming, Colo, Texas....all over. One guy in El Paso is in a buying frenzy. About 10 or so, and still buying. Other that hundreds of Beetles...no foreign stuff. The main building is full of thousands of new old stuff. Antique lights, bearings, clutches. Hundreds of rebuildable engs/trans. We loaded a 36 Dodge pick up yesterday as well as a 66 SS Chevelle. both went to new homes in Texas. another group of guys loaded early to mid 60s hoods, trunk lids, seats and other treasures. Last week we uncovered a very clean, straight...running 72 Ford p/u truck. Has a new 302 in it with 3 on the tree. Parked for 20 years...fired right up. No rusts, dents or damage. Perfect glass and interior. That one id coming to live with me. If anyone has a wish list...plz feel free to call me. we have to make these cars fit in 10 acres so what can't be sold will be destroyed. Hundreds of builders...including LOTS of Ramblers and Studebakers...most complete.
