I've posted on here about the place in New Mexico where I help out at two days a week...just got back from there last nite and it seems that every time we move a few cars we discover more treasures...or as my wife says..nightmares. We get more pulled out, move it to the front of the property, sit it facing the fence..and people start coming thru the gate. They come from Calif, Wyoming, Colo, Texas....all over. One guy in El Paso is in a buying frenzy. About 10 or so, and still buying. Other that hundreds of Beetles...no foreign stuff. The main building is full of thousands of new old stuff. Antique lights, bearings, clutches. Hundreds of rebuildable engs/trans. We loaded a 36 Dodge pick up yesterday as well as a 66 SS Chevelle. both went to new homes in Texas. another group of guys loaded early to mid 60s hoods, trunk lids, seats and other treasures. Last week we uncovered a very clean, straight...running 72 Ford p/u truck. Has a new 302 in it with 3 on the tree. Parked for 20 years...fired right up. No rusts, dents or damage. Perfect glass and interior. That one id coming to live with me. If anyone has a wish list...plz feel free to call me. we have to make these cars fit in 10 acres so what can't be sold will be destroyed. Hundreds of builders...including LOTS of Ramblers and Studebakers...most complete.

Jack, how would one go about getting in touch with you? I am in need of 4 door cars form the 50's and 60's, don't have to be running. have a project that we are working on, to recycle old cars.
Thanks

Hmmmm.. wish list.. 60s or older vintage Beetle, or 2, delivered to NY... thanks.
I wish I could do a run out there. Everything out here is rotten into the ground.
Alas.... no funds for such a venture.

If anyone is serious about getting a car or two here....PLEASE contact me soon as towards the end of July we're going to crush about 600 more cars. Culling as stripping as fast as we can...like the 40 Ford pick up we hauled to the front yesterday. Today the front gets clipped off and sent to El Paso. Sad but they have to be moved....even if its in chunks. also am piling up turn key air cooled VW engines in our back room that has heavy duty shelves. Many are rebuilt and pre-run.

Hey Ben,
Got a 74 in pretty good shape at the shop for rewire he may sell.
