Re: 2 Austin Americas For Sale

Too bad they are so far away. I had a couple of them growing up, and have notheing but good memories. I would love another one, but the trip "back east" would grossly exceed the value of the cars. I think they would make decent commuters now a days, and there are so many A series hop up parts available. I hope someone picks them up and gives them a decent home. How's things Doug??

Re: 2 Austin Americas For Sale

Kids are driving me crazy, getting ready to (semi)-
- retire.Hoping to get some projects done.2008 might be
the year that the Anglia FINALLY sees progress.
We're possibly thinking of moving out of CA.
Oregon,Washington (non DC),PA,& Tenn.are possibilities.

Re: 2 Austin Americas For Sale

I have some relatives in Portland. I am afraid to go to the Pacific North West. I doubt I would ever return.... Good sea food, good beer, rust free cars,,, scenery, what else is there? What part of Pa? I have traveled around that state a bit, and most of it is pleasent and compared to here anyway, is cheaper. I am up to my ears in work here. E types, Alfas, XJ12. I am tired too. I sold my Anglia to a young guy in Albuquerque. He had it up a running, but a couple of weeks ago some lady ran a stop sign, and bent the drivers fender and door pretty badly. Tough luck there. Good luck with retirement. I can only look forward and wish...

Re: 2 Austin Americas For Sale

I like Southern PA.We spent some time in the
Allentown area (Scott's turf),& revisited my
Wife's Aunt/Uncle's old rock house up in Walnutport.
We've still got a lot of thinking to do.
