An informal affair (organized by local Austin-Healey, etc. driver, club officer and moderator of the Austin-Healey section of the LBC forum). I only drove some of it, but made a short video of that portion:

Pretty country out there. Loved the ferries in Washington State. Both my kids lived in Seattle at different times. Ate lots of salmon.

The Washington State ferries are wonderful, and there are many. Big ones leave from Seattle to Bremerton (and elsewhere). It still amazes me that there are little ones here and there. The "Puget Island Ferry" (crossing the Columbia River) runs 365 days a year (regardless of weather).

Thanks for sharing! I've been all over Washington/Oregon,
but never on the South side of the Columbia,NW of Portland.

Lovely scenic country for driving. Farms, fields and forests. :smile: Country roads with little traffic (if you stay off the highway to/from the coast).
 
Mark- Is that route available as some form of doc? I would like to make that drive (in a rental I'm afraid) next time we're in P'Land to see the grandkids.We usually make a trip to Sanvie to do some picking.

Not sure if a driving map is available... though Reid Trummel (moderator of the main Healey group here) would have it because he organized it. I have a map for my variation of the trip (attached). Reid's longer trip didn't include that small ferry but he did make a step-by-step instruction on paper; his went all the way to the Oregon coast (and was more a full-day trip - mine is just a few hours with no stops).
