Runs great, handling feels good, I don't like the Dayton wires, 109,000 miles, top is in good enough shape to last a few years...

What's it worth?

Yep, I thought a little more after I drove it this morning but he's stuck on $3000 so it's a no-go.

Body parts like the lights (Ft and RR), bumper covers and trim etc for the "facelift" cars are like rocking horse poo. I don't know what Jag was thinking when production ended, but it seems that they trashed all the spare body parts right away. I have seen NOS tail lamps sell for over $500.00 per section. It is not economical to fix even the smallest accident damage on those cars, so most are totalled for relatively minor damage.

Tony,
If you decide to give it a go, I have a new in the box front bumper cover and lots of other bits and pieces. I could probably sell the bumper cover and lights for $1500. Also have original wheels and interior parts.

Nah, at $3,000 it isn't worth messing with, salvage title & all.

I know where there is an abandoned XJ-S 12 cylinder Coupe in Nashville if that's what you are looking for. The car is intact, but has been sitting for the last 5 years, yes it will need a restoration, but in my opinion, only disassembly, repaint, and reassembly. I did drive the car 5 years ago. It felt like a Jet airplane pulling me into the seat. Fabulous ride. It has the original gold wheels. The car has clean title.

Were it a convertible, I'd be real interested....however, what's the price range?

I've seen that before...idiots, if you ask me.
