MGB 1980 MGB quick question

Nice forum, I purchased a 1980 I'm looking to restore. I started by removing the coil and the CEI amplifier to clean up that side of the engine bay...now I get no spark to the plugs, I can't seem to find what wire brings 12 volts to the coil? I amplifier is any easy hook up as is the neg side of the coil...but what wire (Where does it come from) brings power to the coil? Thanks in advance for any help

You should have a pair of white/green wires connected to the + side of the coil, and a pair of white/black wires to the - side. They should emerge from the wiring harness in the vicinity of the coil...
