MGB 1978 MGB Coolant Level Checking

Following a drive belt failure my 78 MGB roadster boiled over, having fitted a new drive belt the only method I can find of adding coolant is to the expansion tank on the radiator, can anyone please advice how to check that there is sufficient coolant in the system - Thanks

If yours is like my 79, there should be a large hex plug in the top of the thermostat housing, that's where you pour it in. Lots of luck,

They are the same. If you still have the "DRIVER'S Booklet", (the green book that came with the car) it tells you exactly what to do. I don't have mine here or I could scan the pages and send them to you by email
