far left of the steering wheel. they are kind of in front of the plunger. one wire is red with white stripe, the other is black. Both have spade lug attachments on there but are not connected, just hanging under the dash. Car runs all all accessories seem ok. Ciggy lighter is missing tho. Any ideas?

Assuming an unadultarated wire harness.

Black will be ground.

IIRC from the Midget, red with white went to a diode that was part of the emissions system.
 
Instrument light.
 
cool guys. ty..the ends are spade lugged, but they actually have the male part of the time the connected to inside the lug as if they were ripped out of the item they operated. There isn't much length on them so I will see what instrument has no light! thanks again!
