MGB 1977 MG MGB need help putting top down

I apologize in advance if I posted in a wrong section or did something in the incorrect order.

I am stumped on how to put down the top on my 1977 MGB, I recently bought the car and can’t really travel to see the owner to see how he does it. It uses a Robbins Zip Down rear window and I believe it’s the scissor frame. I tried folding it down like shown in some videos, but can’t fold the rear windows back, it has something to do with the zip rear window and I still haven’t figured it out.

Any help is appreciated and if pictures are needed I will supply them.

The zip window shouldn't be an issue as long as you keep it zipped. You mentioned videos - here's one that I like; be sure to fold the quarter windows forward like he shows. Also, make sure the fold is along the cloth between the rear and quarter windows.

And welcome to BCF!
