I think it's the fuel pump. Acted like it was running out of gas....but has plenty of gas.
Could it be the filter? How hard is it to replace?
Was running fine when parked two weeks ago.

Disconnect the fuel line before the carbs; placing the end in a can or jar and pump the lever on the fuel pump to see it you are fuel.
If not, change the fuel filter. Clamp the rubber fuel line on each side of the filter, remove the clamps then remove the filter. Check the inside of the fuel lines to make sure they aren't swelled and restricting flow.
After installing the new filter, pump the lever again. If still no gas flow, it could be the pump. The pump makes an audible sucking sound when working properly.
