Thought I'd post this as anybody who followed my Spit saga may want to take a chance on shipping this nice California TR6 back to mainland Canada or the USA :0). The guy is looking for $11,500 or "make me an offer". I have no affiliation with this car other than knowing the PREVIOUS owner who bought it from Drake's in Kelowna, BC when I bought my '76 in 2004. The cars were shipped across the country to Newfoundland together and the PO paid a total of $24,000 to the door including shipping and all applicable sales taxes. The car was treated to a full frame ON restoration prior to purchase and was very nice when it arrived here. The current owner is young and knows nothing much about the car and really does not know what he has there. I cannot vouch for its current condition other than to say I've seen it and other than carrying a little road dirt it is very clean. It has the desirable OD trans and a lot of nice touches on it from Drake's restoration. I don't care when or if the current owner sells it but I've seen a number of guys looking for good TR6's and I knew this one to be good when delivered and I do know that it was driven very little since arriving here.
