1974 Lotus Elite [Actual Road Test Car]

Only two bids and it didn't sell

Kinda surprising. I'd have thought the bidding would have been better for this car. Maybe they will post it again, who knows?

kinda looks like a cross between a Delorean and a Pinto..

You'd think people would be smarter than that! Or else they think we're dumber than that!

I've seen that car.

Wow! What a cool ride for 3 grand!

Not my favorite color but it sure is a unique looking ride!

There were two Elites at the Portland ABFM. That one, and a white one that I gave away summer before last for free. (It ran, but had partially dismantled front suspension). The free one was a lot better looking inside and out. Those cars are worth very little.

The do run and drive like a Lotus though. Tons of fun to drive.

I thing that an Elan +2 is a way nicer 2+2 though. I hate the rear window between the hatch and the interior on the Elite. They are way harder to work on too. Just my opinion, but I think he should have taken the money.

Wow..the pricing on these unique automobiles is surprising to me..

Is it hard to keep them running? Is that why they are so inexpensive?

I remember these cars being cool and have even seen a writeup here where someone dropped in a Rover V8..

Seemed like a fun concept.

Uniquely styled but thats part of the fun..
