We are only as good as the information that were given.
Need to start beating the bushes and find the remainder

Everyone had a chance back in the summer. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Glad I changed my mind. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

This may be an odd question, but when did they start making the RB '74.5s?

My GT is a '74,chrome bumpers, but it was made in June of '74.

Did they change a month or two later, or has someone replaced my bumpers?

Stupid question forthcoming: did the '74-1/2 RB GTs come stock with a Stromberg?

never a ZS - not in the USA anyway. They - 1974.5 MGB GT's came with twin HIF's.

Not sure about the UK ones though that they kept making into 1980. But I could check it out though. I'd bet probably from mid 75 til 80... But I'll look into if I need to.

Found the item number in your post. This one is close enough to me but has lotsa rot. I already have a good amount and don't need any more. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thirsty.gif
Thanks though.

Not initially, but then I saw the item number. I had the seller send me more pictures of it and it does not look good. Not to knock his auction, I would have loved the car were it not for all body work i'd need to do.

I've decided I'm going to keep her and restore her to mostly stock condition. I already have some different front and rear springs to lower her some and have a stainless exhaust. Now all I need is the time to work on her!!! hahaha

Good choice. I never see a GT on the roads around here!

run down the road about 125 miles & you'll see several zipping up & down the roads in & around huntsville!

Good deal! Especially on an RB GT...you can always find a pretty solid earlier GT to do the Sebring thing on!
