Hi still wondering where the oil is coming from it's not alot but it's starts from the #4,5,6 plug area and rests on the engine block the car is not blowing oil out the pipes, compression is good and it runs very strong, I think I should pull the valve cover off and maybe need to retorque the cylinder bolts any suggestions as to what would cause this?
 
Maybe this has already been asked, maybe by me.
To where is the valve cover vented ?
 
This has probably been asked before, too, then.
Is TRF part # 500469, the copper washer, in place ?
 
There's a hex head screw in the back of the cylinder head that acts as a plug at the end of an oil passage that feeds the rocker assembly. The copper washer acts as a seal around that screw to keep the oil from leaking.
It's located at the very back of the cylinder head, but off centered, more on the driver side.
In this picture there is an external oil line attached where the plug would normally be:
 
Yes the copper washer is in place. Last night I took off the valve cover and checked the head bolts all seem to be tight .Then I pull the plugs and cleaned the faces where the plug gasket mates with the head they did have some crap on them I scraped them clean hopefully they were not sitting tight on the surface and that was the problem?
