In response to rear shock conversion I thought I would share this with you.... Photo Album /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif Happy New Year to all.

Nice job on the entire car!
The rear tube-shock conversion looks similar to the one I did on my Spridget. My front-shock conversion is here.
Happy 2005 back at you! (from a former Ontario resident)

Beautiful job. Is the colour Magenta or a different shade of purple?
Where in Ontario are you?

Paul

Lovin the paint!
great choice of colour! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Good to see some mgbs driving around other than red ones /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Yes! Very nice, indeed. I'm restoring a '73 and chose the color "Black Tulip", which, from a couple of your pictures, looks like what you've picked. I also chose biscuit interior and top, so it's nice to see a finished product. (Gives me something to shoot for, too!)
