Hi All - i've searched around a bit...i'm positive this was likely addressed in the past but i can't locate. Looking for replacement belts for a '72 Midget. Currently have the inertial reels mounted on the wheel well above the shoulder. Lot of conflicting info on what to buy...thoughts?
thanks!
Dave

They Carry them at Moss Motors. They are also the same as MGB belts.

I suspect you could also use a generic belt as well.

Thanks!! I was hesitant to buy since it was listed for a ā€˜73 and up…I take it I can use it on a ā€˜72?

Everything is pretty much interchangeable and and they typically changed and substituted parts during the years as old parts ran out and new regulations came in. I suspect the only change was to three point from two point so you should be good to go.

I suspect the only change might <might> have been a different sized latch so if you are buying a set it won't matter. The anchor points will almost certainly be the same.
