1972 MG Midget/Dragonfly Roadster

Mano Hermon is selling her late husband's Dragonfly Roadster. This is a fascinating car with a history all its own. I have posted the sales brochure of this car to my website som etime ago. I have been in touch with the owner and am trying to help her appraise it and sell it. Any info would be much appreciated. The car is currently in Sterling Illinois.

Was the running gear built from MGB parts? Was it a kit? Very nice looking car. PJ

It was actually based on the MG Midget and Austin Healey Sprite. The front fenders and valence were unbolted and the subframe lengthened by about a foot and reinforced. The rear body section was also replaced with a shortened fiberglass unit. Its powered by either an A-series or a 1500 spitfire/midget engine depending on the year the donor car was built.
