Been trying to "jump" the solenoid to turn engine over. The previous owner had removed the dash so wiring not hooked up. I have a good battery and cables but can not seem to find the right combination on the solenoid and starter to crank the engine. Can anyone help?

Small peg jumped to the hot battery leg on solenoid.
