What is a reasonable price to expect to pay for reasonably good condition 1971 Midget? No rust, floor pans solid, 1275 dual carbs etc.
Right now it doesn't run (owner doesn't know why) but the engine turns over just no spark.
I expect to work on it (that's why I'm looking at it) but if the body is solid and the motor is complete and original (2nd owner...never been restored)
What would you pay? Good deal...highest amount. I will not be looking at it, this is pretty much site unseen except for some pics he sent.

Let's see the pics!

$1000 would be a good deal for most any rust free chrome bumper spridget that is "complete" (not partially disassembled).

If the compression is good and the interior/body is tidy (but not show condition) then $1800 might be the highest I'd go for a non-runner without a personal inspection.

PS I'll change my mind after I see the pics.

Waiting on interior pics but I have this one...
There is a little bit of damage to the rear back panel

Don't think you could go wrong with anything under 2K.

I suspect there is a fair amount of bond/rust under that respray. I'm going to say $800 tops.

What would it cost to shop, might be a win win deal.
